I wanted to be more creative and fluent so I could smooth-talk my way through boring work meetings. But before I joined this improv class, my idea of spontaneity was trying a different breakfast cereal! Luckily, these sessions are accessible to beginners. Ian provides a good balance technical comedy knowledge, practice games, and stage time. Now I've learned how to think on my feet, or in the case of work meetings, while sitting on my backside. I’ve been going to Ian’s improv workshops for almost two months now and I find them super fun, interactive and informative! Ian's improv classes are fun and helpful to become comfortable in public speaking, using movement within a space, active listening and learning how to think on the fly. The participants come from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities, which makes the classes socially enjoyable. I look forward to my Wednesday evenings, when I go to the improv classes!
